As part of the Writer’s Wriot (scheduled for March 13th, 2010), the Club is sponsoring a writing contest.

There are four categories:

• Poetry, Maximum 60 lines or 600 words
• Short Story with Arizona theme, Maximum 2500 words
• Humor, Maximum of 2500 words
• Non-Fiction (a true story), Maximum of 2500 words

Three prizes are awarded in each category: First place winners will receive $100.00; Second Place $50.00; and Third Place $25.00. The judges may also recognize meritorious entries as “Honorable Mention”. Honorable Mention carries no cash prize.

Winning entries will be published in The Hidden River Cache. Authors retain all other rights to their works.
